Graduation requirements:

Obtaining first-level qualifications requires the achievement of the learning outcomes set out in the program and 180 ECTS points, work experience and admission to the defence of a diploma thesis after being checked in the anti-plagiarism system, obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma exam.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

Graduates have the knowledge of the most significant issues in the contemporary economy and can independently identify and analyse them. Thanks to the programme developed on the basis of the 2008 global crisis experience, the graduates understand the fundamental challenges to business practices and the economics as a science. Hence they are prepared to work in businesses operating in international environments (International Economics major), in businesses operating on the social economics principles (Social Economics major), and have the skills to combine the knowledge in the fields of economics and management (Managerial Economics major).

The graduates are prepared to continue their education on the second-degree level in courses related to economics, in particular Business Analytics and Management Studies.

The graduates are open to understanding socioeconomic reality in a broad sense, with emphasis on newly emerging phenomena.
