Work placement:

Internships: 4 weeks, 160 hours, 6ECTS. Rules of internships in accordance with the Regulations of internships at the Gdańsk University of Technology.

Graduation requirements:

Obtaining learning outcomes defined in the curriculum and the required number of ECTS points, completing the internships provided for in the apprenticeship program, submitting a diploma project and a diploma exam.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

A graduate, after receiving the title of an engineer:

- has general knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science;

- has general knowledge of materials science and science;

- has basic knowledge in the field of material design, the basics of the technology of production and shaping of materials and methods of testing their structure and properties;

- has the ability to identify physicochemical processes;

- the ability to use modern research and measurement equipment;

- has the ability to select materials appropriate to the requirements of use,

- has the ability to critically analyze the results of measurements;

- has the ability to continuously self-educate; - knows English sufficiently to enable the study of specialist literature and communication;

- has basic knowledge of economics and environmental protection
