Obtaining the learning outcomes specified in the education program and the required number of ECTS points, submitting a master's thesis and a positive grade for the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

Graduates upon graduation will possess:
- expanded general knowledge of materials physics and materials technology;
- general knowledge of various types of engineering materials, polymers, and materials modeling;
- general knowledge of the latest developments in materials engineering;
- detailed knowledge in areas corresponding to the profiles of the particular specialization
- basic knowledge of quality assessment;
- the ability to analyze physicochemical processes and phenomena most relevant to the problems being studied
- ability to design equipment and test stands;
- ability to solve problems connected with the manufacture, shaping, application and testing of materials corresponding to the profiles of particular specialties;
- ability to popularize the achievements of science and technology.
The graduate of materials engineering is prepared to work, among others:
- in research laboratories and production departments of workplaces;
- in quality assurance and quality control departments
- in design offices;
- in research institutes and laboratories;
- secondary education (after obtaining additional pedagogical qualifications)
- companies intermediating in material and technology transfer.
Graduates of materials engineering can also undertake doctoral studies.
