Obtaining the learning outcomes and the required number of ECTS points specified in the education program, submitting and obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

A graduate is equipped with advanced technical knowledge and skills necessary in design, construction, operation, overhauling of ships and off-shore structures and systems occuring in widely understood marine economy. They are ready to conduct design and construction work in the area of ocean technology; production management, operation, repairs of ocean technology; to conduct scientific and research work in the area of ocean technology; to manage the production, operation and repairs of ships and off-shore structures and can take up team work in an international environment. A graduate is ready to start work in production plants within widely understood ship-building industry and marine economy, in design and construction bureaus of ship-building and off-shore industry; in consulting and advisory bureaus; classification societies; in marine administration and international institutions operating in ship-building sector. A graduate is ready to commence PhD studies
