Principles of internships in line with the faculty "Principles of implementing internships at the Faculty of Architecture"

Internships are organized by the Faculty of Architecture in cooperation with external institutions / companies.

Graduation requirements:

obtaining the learning outcomes specified in the study program and the required number of ECTS points, completing the internships provided for in the study program, submitting the first defense of the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

Graduates have knowledge of the history and theory of architecture and urban planning, fine arts, construction and building technologies, construction, building physics, and architectural and urban design. They know and apply technical and construction regulations, as well as the methods of organization and course of the investment process. They have the ability to collect information, shape the human environment in accordance with its functional needs, including people with disabilities, and create projects that meet the aesthetic, functional and technical requirements.

Graduates of the first degree studies have knowledge of construction law, economics, organization of the investment process and organization of the design process in the country and in the European Union Member States, and know a foreign language at the B2 fluency level of the European System for the Description of Language Education of the Council of Europe.

Graduates understand the role of the architectural profession in society and its impact on the quality of the built environment. Graduates are prepared to apply the principles of professional ethics. They have the skills to understand and apply the acquired knowledge in practice, make assessments and formulate judgments, communicate with the environment, continue education throughout life, and understand the need for lifelong learning and adapting the acquired qualifications to the needs of the labor market.

Graduates of the first degree studies are prepared to undertake professional activities as auxiliary workers and in the execution and construction supervision in the field of urban design and design of architectural objects together with their surroundings. Graduates are also prepared to undertake second-cycle studies.
