Work placement:
The rules of conducting the practice comply with the Faculty Practice Regulations. They are an integral part of the curriculum and are not subject to classification.
Students conduct the practice in compliance with the schedule of the selected study course. The practice aims at practical verification of the theoretical knowledge gained during the studies or preparation for writing the diploma thesis.
Practice is organized in cooperation with external institutions/companies.
Graduation requirements:
Obtaining the learning outcomes and the required number of ECTS points specified in the education program, submitting and obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.
Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:
A graduate in Mechanical-Medical Engineering at Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology Faculty has to be skilled in fundamental engineering fields. The study system develops creativity, ability to continuous self-education and responsibility.
A graduate has knowledge in technical sciences related to the mechanical-medical problems. Acquainted knowledge allows the graduate to engineering problems related to design, manufacturing and utilization of mechanical/medical devices/systems. Also, this knowledge can be used to leader work teams and production teams on the base of economics and medical sciences fundamentals. A graduate can use hardware and software and has a good communication skills in at least one foreign language. This ability is used to analyze foreign specialized books and publications and to get a job in Poland and abroad. A graduate has basic skills in management, work organization, law system and economics. He/she can work in large production teams, small business and medical facilities.
