The rules of conducting the practice comply with the Faculty Practice Regulations. They are an integral part of the curriculum and are not subject to classification.
Graduation requirements:
Obtaining the learning outcomes and the required number of ECTS points specified in the education program, submitting and obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.
Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:
A graduate has basic knowledge on mathematics and science, technical sciences within the range of construction and operation of ships and off-shore objects. They are ready to perform basic duties connected with the design of constructions, technology of ship construction and repair, technology of off-shore objecs construction and repair, organization and supervision of the production in ship-building industry plants, organization and completing of the repairs of ships and off-shore objects, operation of the engine rooms and ship devices, organization of engineering works and maintenance supervision for off-shore industry. A graduate is ready to take up employment in repair shipyards, ship design and construction bureaus, technical services for ship-owner companies, in engine rooms of ships and off-shore objects, in R&D units of the ship-building and off-shore industry, in environmental threat supervision and control offices associated with ship-building industry. A graduate is ready to start a 2nd degree course.
