Work placement:
The programme includes work experience placement of 3 weeks (120 hours, 4 ECTS points). However, the foreign students who have not obtained the work permit, participate in the Lean Management Game project instead.
Graduation requirements:
Obtaining first-level qualifications requires the achievement of the learning outcomes set out in the program and 180 ECTS points, work experience and admission to the defence of a diploma thesis after being checked in the anti-plagiarism system, obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma exam.
Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:
Graduates of first-degree studies obtain theoretical and practical knowledge in the following fields: management studies, economics, law and social studies related to the core of the modern organizations functioning, its principles and issues, which is broadened by knowledge in the field of business studies, research approaches, global environmental issues, international management studies as well as Polish history and culture issues.
The graduates develop basic skills in:
- human, material and financial resource management;
- analysing, planning, organizing and refining business processes;
- project management and preparing relevant documentation;
- identifying, analysing and solving organizational problems;
- effective communication, including electronic communication tools and multimedia presentations;
- working in a team.
Thanks to the knowledge and skills acquired during the course, the graduates can operate their own businesses and seek employment as an analyst and management systems developer. They may also find employment in positions of various ranks related to organization, analysis and management in enterprises, consulting companies and non-commercial organizations.
The graduates obtain a good knowledge of the Polish economy and its condition, which is an important asset while seeking employment with Chinese companies operating in the Polish market.
The graduates speak a foreign language (English) on the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and have vocabulary in the field of economics and management studies. They speak Chinese.
The graduates are prepared for the second-degree studies and have the skills necessary to continue their self-education and to update their knowledge.
