Obtaining the learning outcomes and the required number of ECTS points specified in the education program, submitting and obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

A graduate of the 2nd degree course in Transport and Logistics has a comprehensive knowledge on the functioning of the modern transport engineering, including marine transport as a component of modern, multimodal transport systems. As an employee of companies and administrative units, they will be prepared to design, manage, optimize and modernize transport systems, to manage, analyse the traffic and to design and modernize waterways. A graduate will have qualifications necessary to design and manage modern logistic terminals, particularly, they will be able to assume the responsibility for the whole process and infrastructure associated with storage and cargo handling. As an employee of a spedition company, they will know basic legal and economic conditions of international transport and will be able to coordinate transport projects and supervise all the stages of a complex process of multimodal transport, including risk assessment. They will be able to assume responsibility for the decisions regarding an optimum purchase and efficients operation of the means of transport, including energy economy. They will apply their skills in their own entrepreneurship operating within a widely understood transpor, including its most modern areas associated with autonomous components of the transport systems. A graduate will be prepared to take up positions in companies and organizational and research units associated with marine transport and marine economy, ship-owning enterprises, spedition companies, road transport companies, and economic entities supporting them. They will also be able to take up work in industrial plants, design bureaus connected with transport, including companies creating and launching modern IT systems for the needs of transport.
