Work placement:
Pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of July 18, 2019 on the standard of education preparing for the profession of an architect, internships in the field of Architecture, second-cycle studies are not required
Graduation requirements:
obtaining the learning outcomes specified in the study program and the required number of ECTS points, completing the internships provided for in the study program, submitting and defending the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.
Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:
Graduates have knowledge and skills in the field of: architectural, urban and conservation design as well as spatial planning, history and theory of architecture and town planning, fine arts, technical and humanities, shaping the human environment, taking into account the relationship between people and architecture and the surrounding space, application of development procedures architectural projects taking into account social factors, solving functional, utility, construction, construction, engineering and technological problems to the extent ensuring the safety and comfort of use of facilities, including for people with disabilities, application of technical and construction regulations and procedures, design economics, as well as implementation and use architectural facility and organization of the investment process and integration of projects with planning studies in the country and in the European Union.
They understand the role of the architectural profession in society and its impact on the quality of the environment.
They are prepared to: undertake creative activities in the field of architectural and urban design, obtain professional qualifications required by law, perform independent functions in construction, design and manage construction works in the architectural specialty, coordinate work in multi-sector design teams, manage design architectural and urban planning studios, independently running a business and undertaking research work.
They are prepared to be employed in: architectural and town planning design studios, local and state administration units, research institutions and research and development centers as well as consulting units.
They are prepared to continue their education in a doctoral school, in postgraduate studies and in other forms of education.
