Work placement:

The rules of conducting the practice comply with the Faculty Practice Regulations. They are an integral part of the curriculum and are not subject to classification.

Students conduct the practice in compliance with the schedule of the selected study course. The practice aims at practical verification of the theoretical knowledge gained during the studies or preparation for writing the diploma thesis.

Practice is organized in cooperation with external institutions/companies.

Graduation requirements:

Obtaining the learning outcomes and the required number of ECTS points specified in the education program, submitting and obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

Graduates have essential knowledge in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering, electronics, informatics, automation, robotics and control. They have skills to integrate this knowledge in design, manufacturing, operation and analysis of products and their accompanying elements and processes. Graduates are prepared to participate in interdisciplinary teams solving problems concerning: design, construction, manufacturing, sales, operation, servicing and diagnostics of mechatronic systems, machines and devices. Graduates should know a foreign language on the B2 level according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and have skills for technical discussions in their field of specialization. Graduates are ready to work in: industry manufacturing mechatronic, electromechanical, automotive, home appliances, aeronautic, shipbuilding, milling elements and systems; industry and other companies operating and servicing mechatronic systems, machines and devices.
