Work placement:

Internships: 6 weeks. Rules of internships in accordance with the Regulations of internships at the Gdańsk University of Technology.

Graduation requirements:

Obtaining learning outcomes defined in the curriculum and the required number of ECTS points, completing the internships provided for in the apprenticeship program, submitting a diploma project and a diploma exam.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

The graduate should have basic knowledge of technical sciences, chemical and chemical technological processes and materials engineering, with particular emphasis on ceramics, polymer materials and composites for construction. as well as the ability to use it in work and life, while maintaining legal and ethical principles. Graduates of the studies know the synthesis technologies, processing and methods of modification of ceramics, polymeric materials and composites used by the construction industry, both engineering and functional, as well as technologies for the production and recycling of finished products. They can design and choose materials for various construction applications and have knowledge in the field of methods for testing, attestation and certification of products. They are prepared to handle specialized software and computer databases. They have basic knowledge in the field of managing and managing human teams in industry. Knowledge and practical qualifications acquired during the six-month industrial practice predestine them to take up employment, both in industrial enterprises, producing for the needs of construction, as well as the research and development base of the construction industry.
Graduates of studies know a foreign language at the B2 proficiency level of the European System of Language Description of the Council of Europe and have the ability to use a specialized foreign language in the field of education. The graduate should have instigated habits of continuing education and be prepared to undertake second-cycle studies.
