Obtaining the learning outcomes and the required number of ECTS points specified in the education program, submitting and obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

The study of Management and Production Engineering second degree provide the graduate with the skills to easily adapt to the rapidly changing conditions and requirements of the economic environment and to work in various professional teams. The combination of engineering and managerial skills makes it possible to find employment with the prospect of rapid advancement while working in various areas of the economy above all in manufacturing and service companies.
Graduates of the second-degree Management and Production Engineering have both managerial and technical knowledge and skills in the field of manufacturing and production engineering including management and quality sciences.
Graduates of second-level management and production engineering studies:

  • are skilled in the use of knowledge in the field of technological, quality management sciences related to the construction and operation of machinery used in various sectors of production and services;
  • are prepared to work in the field of management of manufacturing processes and the provision of services for various sectors of the economy, both as an employee of a larger organisation and as a self-employed person;
  • possess substantive knowledge in the fields of: manufacturing and production engineering, basics of economic and managerial knowledge, which is extended in comparison to the first degree, enabling him/her to undertake independent activities in the field of organisation and management of technological and production processes, their operation, diagnostics and repairs, in the field of manufacturing of goods and services;
  • have interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of creation and use of IT systems in the field of production engineering as well as for the management of production processes.

Graduates can continue their studies after obtaining the Master of Science degree in engineering in third-level (doctoral) studies.
