Graduation requirements:
Obtaining educational outcomes defined in the curriculum and the required number of ECTS points, preparing a diploma thesis and obtaining two positive reviews and passing the diploma exam.
Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:
Graduates of the graduate studies obtain advanced and well-established knowledge in the field of design, construction, operation and testing of electrical devices as well as computer measurement systems and digital control systems. They acquire skills to use the right IT tools. They are able to work creatively and to make decisions and manage employee teams. Graduates of the Electroenergetics specialization: know issues related to the energy market and management, are able to forecast and plan the development of energy systems, are able to carry out analyzes regarding investments and modernization of power facilities, design equipment and power stations using high-voltage technology and modern energy sources, program computer control systems in electric power industry. Graduates of the specialization of Electricity conversion and use are able to: design and construct electromechanical converters, design and program digital control systems in power electronics and electric drive, diagnose power electronics devices, design industrial power systems and IT networks. Graduates are also prepared to undertake third-degree (doctoral) studies.
