Work placement:
4 weeks, 2 ECTS points
The internship is organized in accordance with the faculty internship regulations. The internship is an integral part of the educational program and is obligatory for all students.
Graduation requirements:
Obtain 95 ECTS points by passing the subjects provided in the study plan, prepare a master's thesis and obtain a positive grade from the supervisor and reviewer for this thesis, pass the master's diploma exam within the time limit set by the dean.
Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:
A graduate of Automatic and Robotics is prepared to solve complex, interdisciplinary problems in the field of broadly understood automation and robotics. During his/her studies, he acquires knowledge
needed for creative activity in the use of appropriate design and construction methods of automation systems, microprocessor control of industrial devices, robot software and
automated machining centers. The Master of Science (MSc) in Automation Engineering has the knowledge and skills required to undertake work related to the design, launching and operation of automation systems in various
industrial and non-industrial applications. He/She is also prepared to work on installing and operating automated production stations, in particular industrial robotic stations. The graduate also has the skills to use computer hardware, program both universal computers and digital controllers, and connect them with various external devices.
Upon completing the five-year master's degree in automation, the graduate also has knowledge of automatic regulation algorithms and other calculation and decision algorithms. Acquired skills pose the possibility of undertaking work in virtually all types of industry, including the food industry, chemical processing, mechanical industry, automotive and many others.
