- obtaining 90 ECTS points,- preparation and completion of a diploma project,- passing the diploma examination.

 

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

After completing the second-cycle studies, the graduate will have:

- extended general knowledge of physics, applied mathematics and computer science,

- in-depth detailed knowledge of physics and other sciences in the areas corresponding to the profiles of individual specialties,

- the ability to analyse the processes and physical phenomena most important for the analysed problems,

- ability to design devices, measuring stations,

- the ability to popularize the achievements of science and technology.

Graduates are prepared for research and development work:

- in research institutes and laboratories as well as at universities,

- in companies intermediating in the transfer of knowledge from the area of science to the economy,

- in companies producing software,

- in companies producing modern measuring devices,

- in companies from the energy sector (based on both classic and alternative energy sources) and

- in secondary education (after obtaining additional teaching qualifications) and

- running your own businesses.

A graduate of the faculty may fulfill these roles both as a representative of the public and private sectors. Thorough preparation of the graduate will allow him to relatively easily acquire skills in newly emerging fields of technology and adapt to rapidly changing trends on new labor markets. Graduates of the second cycle studies are prepared to undertake doctoral studies.
