Achievement of the learning outcomes and the required number of ECTS credits specified in the study programme, submission of the Master's thesis and a positive assessment in the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

The graduate, after obtaining the M.Sc. degree, has comprehensive knowledge in the field of properties of crucial materials for corrosion processes, inspection of paint coatings, cathodic protection systems, predicts the course of processes involving them on the basis of knowledge in the field of corrosion and related fields, is able to design innovative technological solutions allowing to obtain usable goods, as well as to carry out experiments with the use of appropriate specialist apparatus and computer methods of data analysis, computer simulations and based on the state of the art in accordance with the latest scientific literature. The graduate has the ability of critical analysis of measurement results, problems and ethical regulations in planning research and designing products and technological processes taking into account the principles of sustainable development. The graduate has a good knowledge of English to the extent that he/she can study specialised literature and communicate, and has a basic knowledge of economics and environmental protection.
