Work placement:
The rules of conducting the practice comply with the Faculty Practice Regulations. They are an integral part of the curriculum and are not subject to classification.
Students conduct the practice in compliance with the schedule of the selected study course. The practice aims at practical verification of the theoretical knowledge gained during the studies or preparation for writing the diploma thesis.
Practice is organized in cooperation with external institutions/companies.
Graduation requirements:
Obtaining the learning outcomes and the required number of ECTS points specified in the education program, submitting and obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.
Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:
A graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, Management and Production Engineering course, regardless of the profile and specialization of education, has mastered knowledge in basic disciplines allowing him to work as a production engineer in various fields of technical activity. The system of studies develops and solidifies such features as creativity, need and ability of continuous self-education, taking responsibility for decisions . A graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology has basic technical knowledge focused on Management and Production Engineering. The interdisciplinary structure of the studies provides the graduate with thorough preparation in the field of process management and production systems with the use of information systems. The graduate also has the ability to implement the requirements of production economics, quality systems and ergonomics in the management process. Particularly important is the ability to use computer-aided design, prototyping and production of products for the needs of a modern enterprise.
