Work placement:

Internship for 160 hours in accordance with the principles set out in the Faculty's Internship Regulations.

Graduation requirements:

Obtaining the first-degree qualification requires the achievement of the learning outcomes and the number of 210 ECTS points specified in the program, completion of internships and admission to the defence of the diploma thesis after checking in the anti-plagiarism system, obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and its defence and the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

Completion of the Engineering Management program provides graduates with managerial and engineering competencies at an advanced level, allowing them to achieve success in their future professional careers. The acquired knowledge and skills shape the ability to adapt to changes, an indispensable feature of the modern business world in the era of technological changes. They are prepared to plan and implement their expectations and meet global social expectations, solving complex problems in management systems (including technical ones) inspired by the results of modern scientific research. Graduates are prepared to develop unique solutions to issues in management critically and creatively, using the engineering approach and implementing projects individually and as a team, both as a leader and contractors. They act with social commitment and awareness of global issues in different cultures, respecting diversity.
Good general preparation in economic and financial sciences, management and quality sciences is extended by more detailed knowledge and skills within specializations that students can choose according to their interests. For example, the Organizational Process Management specialization shapes competencies in modern production management methods, a systemic approach to quality management, and a project feasibility study, combining technical aspects with economic assessment and management system preparation. The specialization of IT in management focuses on the application of information technologies supporting the work of managers. The competencies of engineering design of the structure of IT systems are shaped in the selection of applications, database structures and their use in decision-making processes, paying attention to cyber security.
The graduate is prepared to continue studies at the second degree.
