Work placement:

Practical training: 6 weeks. Internship rules in accordance with the departmental rules for the realization of internships.

Graduation requirements:

Achievement of the learning outcomes and the required number of ECTS points specified in the program of study, completing the internships provided for in the program of study, passing the diploma exam.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

The graduate, after receiving the professional title of engineer, has general knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science, material engineering and material science; has knowledge of material design, the basics of technology of manufacturing and design of materials and methods of testing their structure and properties, knows the principles and knows how to use the appropriate research equipment and industrial apparatus to carry out a given technological process. The graduate of the course is able to identify physicochemical processes and phenomena, use modern research and measurement apparatus, knows methods of quality control of various products, materials and raw materials of the chemical industry and analytical procedures, has the ability to select materials suitable for the requirements of use, and is capable of critical analysis of measurement results. The graduate is aware of continuous self-education, knows English to the extent that he can study specialized literature and communicate, has basic knowledge of economics and environmental protection.
