Work placement:
The internship takes place in the 4th semester and lasts for 100 hours. It is assigned 4 ECTS credits. During the internship, students verify their knowledge gained during their studies in the field of creative and entrepreneurial activities in identifying and solving innovative ideas. They can demonstrate professional and effective performance in teamwork, both as a leader and as a team member.
Graduation requirements:
Obtaining a first-cycle qualification requires achieving the learning outcomes specified in the program, earning 180 ECTS credits, completing an internship, being admitted to the thesis defense after an anti-plagiarism check, and receiving a positive grade for the thesis as well as the diploma examination.

Graduates of the Faculty of Management and Economics (WZiE) are prepared to meet the challenges of an unpredictable future, shaped by changes in their environment. They realize both their own aspirations and global social expectations, shaping their future role as individuals equipped to: analyze complex problems inspired by contemporary research findings; develop unique solutions to economic issues in a critical and creative way; take on leadership roles; act with social engagement and awareness of global challenges across various cultures, while respecting diversity.Students can choose from one of two specializations.The Managerial Economics specialization prepares students to view organizational management from an economic perspective. A key focus is the ability to use financial information effectively. Other important areas include evaluating investment projects and assessing and minimizing risks associated with business activities.The Sustainable Development Economics specialization focuses on the economic aspects of this concept, which is based on the responsible use of available resources. Analyzing and evaluating this complex idea requires knowledge of appropriate modeling methods. The topic is strongly influenced by political and social factors. It's also essential to understand how the implementation of sustainability impacts a countrys macroeconomic indicators.Graduates are prepared to continue their education at the Masters (second-cycle) level.
