Graduation requirements:

Achieving the learning outcomes specified in the study programme and the required number of ECTS points, completing the internships specified in the study programme, and obtaining a positive grade on the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

The graduate, after receiving the professional title of engineer, has general knowledge in the field of mathematics, physics, chemistry and computer science, materials engineering and materials science; has knowledge in the field of material design, the basics of technology for manufacturing and shaping materials and methods for testing their structure and properties, knows the principles and is able to use the appropriate research device and industrial equipment to carry out a given technological process. The graduate of the major is able to identify physicochemical processes and phenomena, use modern research and measurement equipment, knows the methods of quality control of various products, materials and raw materials of the chemical industry and analytical procedures, has the ability to select materials appropriate for the requirements of use, and also has the ability to critically analyze measurement results. The graduate is aware of continuous self-education, knows English to a degree that allows studying specialist literature and communicating, has basic knowledge in the field of economics and environmental protection.
