Internship rules are consistent with the Faculty's "Principles for Internships in the Field of Architecture."
Internships are organized by the Faculty of Architecture in cooperation with external institutions/companies.
Graduation requirements:
achieving the learning outcomes specified in the study programme and the required number of ECTS points, completing the internships specified in the study programme, submitting and defending the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.
Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:
Graduates possess knowledge of the history and theory of architecture and urban planning, fine arts, construction and building technologies, structures, building physics, and architectural and urban design. They understand and apply technical and construction regulations, as well as methods for organizing and managing the investment process. They possess the skills to gather information, shape the human environment according to its functional needs, taking into account people with disabilities, and create designs that meet aesthetic, functional, and technical requirements.
Graduates of first-cycle studies possess knowledge of building law, economics, the organization of the investment process, and the organization of the design process in Poland and in European Union member states, and have a foreign language proficiency level of B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Graduates understand the role of the architectural profession in society and its impact on the quality of the built environment. They are prepared to apply the principles of professional ethics.
They possess the skills to understand and apply acquired knowledge in practice, to make assessments and formulate judgments, to communicate with others, to pursue lifelong learning, and to understand the need for continuing education and adapting acquired qualifications to the needs of the labor market.
Graduates of first-cycle studies are prepared to pursue professional careers as support workers and in construction and construction supervision in the areas of urban design and the design of architectural structures and their surroundings. Graduates are also prepared to undertake second-cycle studies.
