Work placement:

4 weeks, 160 hours, 6 ECTS, internship rules in accordance with the regulations PG

Graduation requirements:

Obtaining the learning outcomes specified in the education program and the required number of ECTS points, completing the internships provided for in the education program, submission of the engineer diploma thesis and a positive grade for the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

  • After obtaining the professional title of Engineer, the graduate:
  • has advanced knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science;
  • has advanced knowledge in materials engineering and materials science;
  • has advanced knowledge in materials design, the fundamentals of materials manufacturing and processing technologies, as well as methods for investigating their structure and properties;
  • is able to identify physicochemical processes and phenomena;
  • is able to plan and conduct experiments in the field of materials engineering and related sciences;
  • is able to use modern research and measurement equipment;
  • is able to select materials appropriate to specific usage requirements;
  • is able to critically analyze measurement results;
  • is capable of continuous self-education and professional development;
  • has a command of English sufficient for studying specialist literature and effective communication;
  • has basic knowledge of economics and environmental protection.
