Graduation requirements:

Obtaining second-level qualifications requires the achievement of the learning outcomes set out in the program and 120 ECTS points, work experience and admission to the defence of a diploma thesis after being checked in the anti-plagiarism system, obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma exam.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

Graduates of second-degree studies in Business Analytics have a comprehensive theoretical preparation for describing and analysing economic phenomena applying quantitative methods and information technologies. They have the theoretical foundations for analysing economic and financial processes on a local and global scale and the role of an individual in creating and participating in socioeconomic processes. They know the methods of modelling the economic processes in the micro and macro scales and have the knowledge of legal, ethical and economic standards which shape the way of functioning of the social and economic structures, and understand the principles of risk assessment in operating a business.

They can use the theoretical knowledge to identify, describe and interpret economic phenomena and processes using the necessary IT tools. They interpret the analyses results correctly and can form their own opinions and ideas for solutions to the observed problems based on the results of the analysis. Producing the problems solutions, they can assess their effectiveness. They have the ability to make decisions and assess their influence on the functioning of the organization. They can work in groups performing analyses using advanced IT tools.

Their language skills in the field of economic studies meet the B2+ level standards set by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The graduates with second-degree qualifications are prepared to perform advanced tasks associated with forecasting, modelling and analysing complex economic processes, preparing plans, economic forecasts, financial reports, sales journals, etc. They are prepared to work in various types of business organizations and socioeconomic institutions.

The graduates are prepared for third-degree studies and area aware of the necessity to continue their education throughout their whole life.
