Work placement:
The study program includes 3 months of obligatory professional trainings. The work placements will be carried out in industrial facilities and companies.
Graduation requirements:
Obtaining the learning outcomes specified in the education program and the required number of ECTS points, completing an internship,.submitting a master's thesis and a positive grade for the diploma examination.
Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:
Graduates are familiar with the issues of chemical technology and chemical engineering used in the chemical industry, including refining and petrochemical technologies. They have knowledge of production, storage and transmission of media and energy. They are able to design industrial installations, perform optimization of installation operating parameters and other engineering calculations, and are familiar with the installation design cycle from the planning stage to the implementation and commissioning of the installation. They are able to use technical documentation. They are prepared to use specialized software for engineering calculations, thermodynamics of optimization and modeling of technological processes. They are familiar with issues of technical analysis and quality control. The knowledge gained during the studies in combination with the experience gained through practical classes and three-month work experience in industry enable the graduates to be well prepared for professional work in industrial plants as well as companies and research and development units.
