The internship rules are in line with the Faculty's Internship Regulations. Internships are organized by the Faculty of Architecture in cooperation with external institutions / companies.
Graduation requirements:
The condition for obtaining an engineering diploma in the field of spatial management, urban planning specialties is to obtain during the entire educational cycle, min. 210 number of ECTS points, as well as traineeship and passing the diploma exam.
Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:
Graduates obtaining the professional title of engineer in the field of spatial management have the knowledge of urban planning and spatial planning, economic, natural and social sciences allowing for active participation in the subsequent stages of planning and implementation of urban and communal development processes with special regard to spatial development and location of new investments. This means that they can participate in: planning of spatial development of cities, communes and regions, programming of socio-economic development of cities and rural areas, programming and planning of infrastructure systems development real estate and land management processes, investment processes, preparation to undertake second-cycle studies. Graduates of the faculty can perform both the role of representatives of the public sector (public authorities at various levels) and private (private design and investment companies). The main aim of education is to equip the graduate with knowledge enabling him to actively participate in the process of preparing various types of planning, prognostic, study and coordination documents, serving the purpose of conducting a comprehensive spatial development policy in cities and municipalities. At the same time, he will be able to serve as a mediator in social, economic and environmental conflicts emerging in the space of active development of space. The graduate will have skills allowing him to compete freely on the labor market in Poland and Europe, in particular through the use of modern computer techniques in monitoring, analysis and preparation of investment projects of various types. An important element of the graduate's skills will also become knowledge about the acquisition of EU funds with special regard to those allocated for the development of rural area.
