Obtaining the learning outcomes and the required number of ECTS points specified in the education program, submitting and obtaining a positive grade for the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.

Graduate profile and further learning opportunities:

The graduate is able to apply advanced knowledge in the field of mechatronics, particularly related to the synergy of mechanics, mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science and control theory necessary for designing and constructing specialized devices used in: machines and vehicles, manufacturing equipment and systems, diagnostic devices and measurement equipment.

The graduate is prepared for: creative activities in the design, production, and operation of machines and manufacturing systems; management and development of production in industrial enterprises; management of technological processes; conducting research in scientific research units; management of design work in the field of machine construction and technological processes; taking creative initiatives and decisions; collaborating as a team member of research teams. The graduate is prepared to work in: industry in the design, construction, production, operation, diagnostics, and servicing (e.g., means of transport, household appliances, medical equipment, power tools, measuring and diagnostic devices); service and diagnostic stations; units involved in consulting and disseminating knowledge in the field of mechatronic devices construction and operation, as well as in scientific research institutes and research and development centres.

The graduate is prepared to start studies at a Doctoral school.
